Location
Apokoronas is considered to be Crete's most beautiful and exotic region. The unspoilt village of Plaka is situated high above the sea and offers terrific views of Souda Bay and the White Mountains. Plaka village square, where you can enjoy the village atmosphere in its excellent tavernas, is a mere five minute walk. Plaka provides a choice of two minimarkets to meet everyday requirements.
The Blue Flag beach at Almerida is down the hill and can be reached in two minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot. This picturesque seaside village offers windsurfing and mountain bike hire, as well as shops and supermarkets and a wide selection of tavernas.
Chania, with its famous Venetian harbour, quayside bars and restaurants, was once the island capital and is a short drive away.
Furnished to a high standard in modern style and set in its own private garden within a small select development, Sinefo Ennea is located in an elevated position with stunning panoramic sea views, on the edge of the popular village of Plaka. Guests have use of the swimming pool, shared with four other houses.

Inside the villa
The ground floor has an open plan lounge and kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is comprehensively equipped including a full cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, etc. In the lounge area there is a sofa that converts to either a double or two single beds, with orthopaedic mattresses. An lcd tv with dvd player and a cd/mp3 player enable guests to play either the selection of dvds and cds supplied, or to bring their own favourites. The tiled shower room has toilet and washbasin. The large covered terrace area with attractive archways and modern patio furniture, provides an alternative outside dining area. In addition, there is a patio, accessed via french windows from the lounge.
The first floor has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, both with fitted wardrobes and access to the furnished balcony with pergola, which affords views of the peninsula and sea. The first floor bathroom accommodates a bath with shower over, toilet, washbasin, and washing machine.
The property is fully air-conditioned, with units that act as heaters if required, and hot water is provided by means of solar power, backed up by electricity.
The villa will sleep up to six, but is idealy suited to four persons. We also welcome small parties and are happy to offer a discount for couples - please contact the owners for details.
Outside the villa
The garden surrounding the property is on two levels and provides a choice of areas for sunbathing, or sitting in the shade. A wide variety of plants, including bougainvillea, palms, fruit trees and cacti, are becoming established. Sunbeds and modern deckchairs are provided.
Car parking spaces are situated on the perimeter of the development.
