About the Villa
The Villa is a double-decked luxurious villa of 178 m2, in which 4 visitors can have a pleasant, comfortable and complete stay. It is built on a hill side and it has a panoramic view to the sea and the mountains. It is only 150 m far from the sea and it is a perfect destination for those who love nature’s beauty, especially alpine landscape, and want to enjoy moments of calmness and relaxation.
On your way to Village Apokoronas, the majestic view of the blue sea on your left and the impressive alpine landscape on your right, captivate the eye and provide a pleasant companion to the traveler. At 29 km you meet village Plaka. As soon as you approach the village and after a magnificent trip, the Villa is a part of what we say "Cretan Hospitality".
Description
The Villa has a very meticulous and special decoration and style. The rooms’ design has nothing less than an ordinary home for a family. At first floor there is a kitchen, a lounge and a bathroom with a shower. Second floor of the house has two bedrooms and a second bathroom. The first bedroom has a balcony with view to the sea. At first floor there is also a big veranda with garden of 300 m2, a garden lounge and a parking. The view from every side of the house is spectacular!
The house is full furnished, as it has a double and two single beds, closets, couches, tables and bedside tables, a lounge, selves and cabinets, shoe-cabinet, garden furniture. There are also washing machines for clothes and dishes, fridge and refrigerator, air-conditions and central heating, oven and cooker, TV home theater, DVD player and stereo for pleasant music hours. Towels and sits for all the beds are available for guests too.

Plaka village
Plaka is a traditional village with an old well-retained culture, picturesque slip-roads and rocky beaches with sea-caves. The caves of the area amount to 215.
Apokoronas
District of Apokoronas is 313 km² lengthening, it is situated on the southeast part of Chania and it is one of its five biggest counties.
It is believed, that “Apokoronas” as a name has its roots in the Byzantine years, and it means “from the crown”, as in those years this area owned to the Byzantine emperors. Some ancient findings also prove that there was a human presence since 8-6000 years bc. There have been found Minoan tombs, many clay pots, ancient remains and 231 caves with high historical and environmental importance too.
Apokoronas village consists of 5 towns (Armenoi, Vamos, Cryonerida, Fre) and one community (Asi Gonia). There are all together 75 villages.
It is quite remarkable the fact that Apokoronas has a very important geographical situation, as it is a “bridge” for Chania city. It connects Chania with the rest districts of Crete. At Apokoronas, also eventuate the northern side of Souda with its cape, Georgioupolis’ bay and Drepanos cape.
The most important part of Apokoronas is covered from one part of the White Mountains, while many rivers come across the village (Kiliaris, Xidias, Vrisanos, Almyros, Delfinas). There are also many gorges such as Diktamos, St. Nicolas’ and that of Asi Gonia.
