Tour operated buses meet the flights at Heraklion airport and local buses can also picked up here for onward connections via taxi. There is a taxi rank and limo service outside the airport for all destinations on Crete. Several car hire companies have offices within the airport for either pre-booked or on the spot hire. The villa is situated 1km from Milatos which is a small fishing village with a supermarket, fishing tavernas, bars and shops. 8km away visitors can find the village of Sisi, which is a larger fishing village with hotels, beaches, a harbour, restaurants, bars, pharmacy and supermarkets.
